ps: in the waiting room this little girl would giggle every time that i moved my eyebrows. realizing this, i swear to have 7 kids and train them to steal things like diamonds and pearl necklaces from old women.

SHIT BITS!
the scott pilgrim movie casting people notified me to work THE DAY i have to enroll into my courses for next year. :(
although, i got into all of my classes including 'digital music'. i will compose over the top euro techno for my professor and synchronize it with anime on the projector. i will run down the aisles slapping 5 with my classmates and they will lift me above their heads and it will be beautiful.

SERIOUS THOUGHT:
yesterday i had an overwhelming, split-second realization of failure. it was as if all of my youthful naievity was ripped out of me. I've always had this optimistic feeling of limitless potential, where failure is just an occasional obstacle. To me, being an adult always meant being able to cope with tough situations and not collapsing under their pressure. I started thinking that being an adult maybe means accepting that you are a failure and that your life will never be as good as you had hoped. It is a gradual thing, but yesterday it hit me like a shitload of bricks.
i had to write that down somewhere to laugh at when i am old and successful. the only thing that can lighten the mood now is some 'synth pop'.

i applied for a job posting that said CHILDRENS CHOIR CONDUCTOR NEEDED. it was in caps lock. going to the interview would be so much fun. i would answer everything in an operatic voice, even though i am dangerously unqualified. it would be like sister act 2 but way cooler.

TCAF was amazing. met a lot of cool people and got a bunch of free comics from proz for handing them my comic. Some publishers sounded interested... we shall see.

i made these two spreads based on the lyrics in the song 'like spinning plates by radiohead'. i think it looks how the song sounds. the file would crash every computer it touched due to its intricacy. i designed all of the type.
i may have to decrease the letterspacing in this one.
the Toronto Comics Art Festival is this weekend. it is free and kind of a big deal.
